The purpose of cultivating abundance is to move you to a higher consciousness. It was never about getting the goods. The experience of knowing you can manifest your desire sets you on the next step of remembering your oneness with all that is and becoming the full power of your expression.
I have been in this study of metaphysics for a very long time, and back when I was taking baby steps, one of the first exercises was to know how to manifest a parking space. With that fulfilled power under my belt, I went to the next level of manifesting a specific, let’s say, a blue 1950 Studebaker. This action and result are possible, but why? Manifesting a particular object, a particular healing, a particular relationship, or a specific result can and is being done. But why limit yourself? Limiting your focus robs you of gifts that, from a broader perspective, would expand and speed up your journey of expansion.
The dramatic change in my daily personal life came with surrender. It came with communicating with the Divine every moment. I would think, “I know it is the Saturday before Christmas, but I need a parking space at Walmart.” Later, I graduated to heal my sprained ankle when I fell. But it all revolved around me and the constrained physical world I occupied. I was limited.
When I surrendered and acknowledged my oneness with all that is, then I was in a relationship with Spirit, and my manifestation desires changed. My desires were expressed with an ultimate goal in mind. Instead of “I want to manifest a dollar amount for a down payment for a specific home.” I just let the Spirit know I was ready for a bigger dwelling. “This or better.” I stopped putting limits on Spirit
I once had a boss who was so controlling, his way or no way. He thought himself a computer guru, yet when he installed computers for the seven of us who worked there, he strung them along from one to another on the same external wire. When one went down, they all went down. Even though I was paid an enormous salary for my skill set, most of my time was spent crawling from desk to desk to see where the disconnect was located and then wiggling the wire to restore power to all the computers. If this guy had just given up control, seven accomplished ladies in that office would have gladly helped him on his path to success. Isn’t that what we do when we hogtie Spirit with our control? We negate the help that is available and ready.
This is much like the enrichment of traveling the globe. It is never about reaching a destination; it is about the expansion of consciousness experiences of your journey. When you tell Spirit you want to just teleport straight to Machu Picchu, you will have missed all the delights you would have gained in the journey and the deliciousness of the life-changing experiences Spirit placed in your path.
Each time you experience a result of manifesting your desire, you accept your growing skills. It becomes comfortable to direct energy and then you become co-creator with the Divine, and accept the partnership in healing the wounds of persons, locations and situations for which you jumped into Earth School.
